I... dreamt that .. you were my mentor and I was learning under your lead.
Anyway, this is not why I am here.

I.. woke up, wondering about two more things so I thought I'd ask you (since it doesn't cost a thing) ._.)

1.) How many hours do you need to finish one of your pictures? (for example, your newest or the crisis core one).
2.) What blending / Layer mode do your textures have in photoshop, when you add them to the model afterwards?

:la: I am so excited about your talent- I find myself looking at your gallery every day.
I hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday!

The Dino Crisis render took 2 days of work. The first thing I did was to photoshop Regina's face, then I fixed the body proportions, added the detailed textures and replaced the holster. I did a quick sketch of the background, I painted some grass, I added a blurred background and added a huge grass texture. Then moutains and sky and Dylan. :)

:la: So amazing!

And you set the.. texture to.. soft light? Overlay?
I just wonder how you get the textures to look like they are ON the model, instead of make them look like they are a whole extra 'thing'.
You really are amazing!

Hello there!

I just thought I'd stop by to do two things..

1.) Tell you how amazing your artworks are. I know how much time must be put into this. Especially because from what I've seen, you do a lot of post-work in photoshop, right? :la: You really are gifted with great talent.

2.) Since.. asking doesn't cost a thing.. I was wondering: What program do you use to render? And: Do you render at all? Or only use xps + photoshop?

I hope you're having a wonderful Tuesday and a great afternoon today.

Greetings from me (the german sackface), to you!

Hi,
thanks for the kind words!

Yes, I do a lot of post-work in Photoshop, here's the before and after picture : turningpointweb.com/wp-content…
I first did a quick sketch on paper, then I made the pose on XPS. I did the render with Blender Cycles and Photoshopped the whole body with Photoshop CS6.

I don't think Cycles helped much in this case because I had to take screenshots of the XNA Lara version to mix both of them to make it look better. :)

A.. am I seeing this right?
You are adding textures to the cloth etc. afterwards? In Photoshop?
Let alone that even the face looks completely different after your post work.

My god.. this is truly amazing.
Have you taught this to yourself.. all by yourself?
I .. really.. I am speechless...

Yes, I always use the "outil fluidité" I'm forced to add more since using this tool I loose a lot of details!

Hi.
I played Deus Ex because I was curious and wanted to make at least one render of it, but I didn't like it very much. I would've prefer to like the game to do renders for it.
